Welcome to Dolphin Swim School! Based in the LKN/Cornelius area, we specialize in water safety and learn-to-swim instruction for individuals and small groups/dyads. Our instruction is fun-heavy with an emphasis in technique that will encourage lifelong water-safe habits. The best part is the swim school can come to you!
Founded in Cornelius, Dolphin Swim is on the GO!
Dolphin Swim School teaches infants 3months and up, children, and adults at any age. We are a trauma-informed swim school with experience working with the kid who has no fear of the water to the adult who has never put their face in. We offer lessons during the summer months at any pool within 20 miles of the LKN area.
Water: it’s serious fun.
Swim instruction takes many forms. At Dolphin Swim School, we operate under the premise that true learning happens when the nervous system is online. We utilize time-tested and intuitive practices to teach swimmers how to get themselves to safe places, all while laughing and playing games and having a generally good time. The pool is fun. So is learning how to swim in it.

Ms. Elaine has been swimming since her coach pushed her in the pool at the age of 5. Elaine has experience as head coach of the Harbour Seals Swim team, Assistant Director and curriculum writer for the SwimMAC Swim School, and a passion for working with children.

Fun fact? Elaine once swam from Georgia to Tennessee, 4.5 miles across a lake.
